Actually it’s seen that media only informs the facts which privilege a certain social class. The media influences the opinions of people principally when it’s concerned about politics, but there are also other influences like way to wear, musical taste and others. It’s necessary to pay careful attention to the informations entailed in the media and try to know the two sides of the news.
The Media The media in our current reality plays a fundamental role. She is able to create monsters or make great leaders. For that uses its main tool - the information. This information should be provided impartially, this is how a responsible media should act. Show an information presenting only one side, and is unethical biased. With that what prevails is who has the power. For the media to survive it needs financial resources. These resources come from companies, controlled by the elites. The media is very important to the society, because it informs about all that happens in the whole world, keeping the society well informed. But this information, many times, is manipulated, because it influences the decisions of people, for example, in choosing their politics leader. The period before the elections, the media tries to pass only good things about some candidates, in favor of their interests. The media also tries to establish a standard of beauty - especially among women, also uses famous people in their advertisements to influence people in choosing their banks, their clothes, their cars and others. People should study more to increase their levels of education. Because the classes that are more influenced by the media are generally those less educated. People, because of a basic basket or a medical consultation, think they should vote in favor of some politicians, so their families should vote on them. They don't know they have the right to food, health and education. We, as teachers, have an important role to combat manipulation of the media on people. We must orient and train critical students who fight for their rights and do not accept what is imposed for them without first analyzing what is better.
